The S-PLANE X-KIT is a comprehensive solution that offers a means to rapidly convert manned or unmanned aircraft into both experimental and certified Manned, Unmanned or Optionally Piloted Systems. Built on S-PLANE’s proven and rugged X-SERIES technology, the X-KIT can be readily applied to almost any aircraft, bringing the certified and versatile autonomous systems of the future to today.
At the core of the X-KIT is the X-CUBE, which serves as a redundant flight control computer, power distribution unit, and data concentrator. It seamlessly integrates with third-party payloads, enhancing system capability. The X-ADT handles ISR payload management and control, onboard computing, I/O concentration, storage, SDI video capture, communications management, encryption, video transcoding, Ethernet switching. Automation can be combined with ISR Mission systems to create ISR UAS/OPS.
S-PLANE’s TRACKER+ is stand-alone GNSS-based antenna tracker and environmentally controlled radio enclosure. It can carry multiple high-powered, long-range datalinks while enabling seamless Line of Sight Communication (LOSCom) between aircraft and ground control stations. With its ability to dissipate 800W of radio heat and qualification to RTCA DO-380 environmental specifications it ensures dependable operation of long-distance radio links even in challenging environments. With MIMO mesh network radios, the TRACKER+ supports the creation of reliable and flexible communication architectures across various environments. Multiple units can be networked to extend coverage over large operational areas.
Primary Flight Controls, Ground Control Consoles (GCC), and hard I/O connect to S-PLANE’s X-RPU, a safety-critical command and control computer that enables reliable remote piloting for OPS or UAS. GCCs can be configured as Remote Piloting Stations (RPS), Payload Operator Stations (POS) (for ISR Mission aircraft), or Flight Test Stations (FTS), making them adaptable to a wide range of operational demands. Our Paragon appliances offer advanced HMI software for feature-rich Command and Control (C2), as well as airborne ISR payload management, with intuitive interfaces for mission planning, execution, and mission payload operation.
