S-PLANE’s Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Systems solutions are built around its X-CUBE, a rugged, high-reliability avionics unit that combines high-performance redundant flight control computers, power distribution, data concentration and data storage into a single device. It offers a certification-ready automation solution for managing all safety-critical functions on AAM aircraft. Additionally, The X-RPU is a safety-critical command and control computer that enables reliable remote piloting for unmanned and optionally piloted aircraft systems. It serves as the interface between ground-based operators and the aircraft’s flight control and automation system, translating operator inputs into safe automated and/or real-time fly-by-wire operation for remote flight and remote flight testing.

AAM systems using S-PLANE’s products gain a rapid path to unmanned capability by simply upgrading or adding equipment without the need to re-engineer existing systems or architectures. Building on existing equipment and systems makes upgrades straightforward, cost effective and quick.
