TRACKER+ builds on the proven capabilities of S-PLANE’s TRACKER 100 product range. It is a self-contained antenna tracker and environmentally controlled radio enclosure, all in one.
Designed to carry high-powered, long-range datalinks, TRACKER+ enables seamless Line of Sight Communication (LOSCom) between aircraft and ground control stations. A backlash-free two-axis drive system delivers high torque and speed in a compact form, making it ideal for tracking mobile or stationary targets. With its ability to dissipate 800W of radio heat and qualification to RTCA DO-380 environmental specifications it ensures dependable operation of long-distance radio links even in challenging environments.
Customers can safely choose to integrate multiple radio links of their choice, even in unpackaged OEM format. Alternatively, they may select from standard primary and secondary radio links, including software defined MIMO mesh network radios. To this end, the TRACKER+ offers directional and omni-directional antennas and RF switches across the UHF, L, S and C bands.
With MIMO mesh network radios, the TRACKER+ supports the creation of reliable and flexible communication architectures across various environments. Multiple units can be networked to extend coverage over large operational areas.
The rugged, mobile, and modular TRACKER+ can be deployed in under 20 minutes on tripods, vehicles or masts. Calibration is quick and requires no specialised tools, thanks to the onboard tracker control unit.
